NISOH Safety Program Checklist

Administrators, coordinators, and teachers know that their schools and programs must comply with State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA) regulations. The task of implementing the many regulations is overwhelming and leaves many schools and programs out of compliance. Learning Greenhouse provides a low-cost Safety Checklist Program that will bring schools and programs back into compliance. This compliance is guaranteed to be achieved even when school folks possess limited safety and health experience, have a busy schedule, and simply feel overwhelmed with having to know and abide by the many regulations.

It is mandated that Career-Technical schools and institutions have safety and health programs in place. These require:
Conducting hazard analyses for each CTE program
Implementing safety-and maintenance inspections
Compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations

The Safety Checklist Program available through Greenhouse Works provides simple information and clear steps necessary to maintain safe CTE classrooms, shops, and labs for teachers and students. This Safety Checklist Program is relevant for K-12 schools and also applies to colleges and universities with occupational safety and health programs regulated by State and Federal law.
A safety and health program as well as an environmental safety program that complies with State and Federal laws will prevent injury and illness of school employees, staff, faculty, and students.
